Al-Noor Science Fair

Al-Noor Islamic Academy will hold a Science fair from grades K-4th on Wednesday, April 05, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend and see our little scientists hard at work.

Al Noor Islamic Academy provides a comprehensive curriculum that offers students a broad range of both academic and religious subjects. The subjects are Arabic Language, Quran, Islamic Studies, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health, and Physical Education. The school has moved quickly to establish a strong academic program where children are challenged to learn and excel academically. The school also conducts field trip programs that take the students to many places of educational interest and values. Al Noor Islamic Academy is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. At our academy, our main focus is educating our students in Academic and Islamic studies with the highest of standards. Through our exceptional teaching and our rigorous curriculum our students have many areas in which to excel. We provide an Islamic environment in which young Muslims can thrive without compromising the quality of education.


Arabic: 

IQRA’ Arabic Reader- Designed to teach Arabic to English Speaking Children. Some  highlighter features include; Arabic with English guidelines, colorful pages, Islamic themes, and so forth.

 

Islamic Studies:

I Love Islam is a series of Islamic studies textbooks that gradually introduces Muslim students to the essentials of their faith and bring to light historic and cultural aspects of Islam. Each book of the series is designed to emphasize the aspects of Islam.

 

Mathematics: 

Everyday Mathematics is a results-oriented program of choice for nearly 3 million students in the United States alone. Everyday Mathematics was developed by the University of Chicago School Mathematics Project. It enables children in elementary grades to learn more mathematical content and become life-long mathematical thinkers.
