Al-Noor Islamic Academy will hold a Science fair from grades K-4th on Wednesday, April 05, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Parents are encouraged to attend and see our little scientists hard at work.

ANIA's 3rd Annual Spelling Bee Competition

Al-Noor Islamic Academy's 3rd annual Spelling Bee Competition will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 Insha'Allah.

Quran Comptition

Al Noor Islamic Academy (ANIA) is a non-profit Pennsylvania Department of Education registered elementary school founded in 2010. ANIA is affiliated with the Islamic Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania (IANEPA) founded in 1990 to serve the needs of the Muslim community in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

ANIA is the first and the only full time Islamic School in North Eastern Pennsylvania, established to provide children with the best possible education in an Islamic environment that is both safe and nurturing.

ANIA is a state-of-the-art institution with classrooms equipped with Smart Technology, library with over 1000 books recommended specifically by the Islamic Schools League of America, gym and basketball court, indoor activity room, science lab, computer lab, auditorium and prayer hall that allows for a close interaction among teachers, students, and parents on a daily basis. This is a unique combination of elementary school education with faith and practice leading to recognition and understanding of the rights of fellow students and teachers, fellow human beings and love for the country in which we live in.


Our vision is to educate students who are fully conscious of their accountability to God, self-confident in their identity as Muslims, and who are responsible and productive citizens of the United States of America.
